| One of the littlest working dogs, Australian Terriers are good for keeping rats and snakes under control. The Australian Terrier has sharp eyesight and makes a great watchdog. Australian Terriers were the first Australian purebreds to be shown in the United States. Australian Terriers were recognized by the United Kennel Club in 1969.
